I help my clients with various issues that they present to me and we work together to get to where the client wants to be. Every client is unique and I will use different forms of therapy in order to get my client to where they want to be.
I am also certified to work with grief and also a Slim Via Hypnosis Practitioner
This type of talking therapy enables the client to understand their feelings, and what makes them feel the way they do. We work on this to bring a resolution on how to deal better with these feelings. As humans we have around 60,000 thoughts a day with around 80% of those being negative thoughts only, now it's ok to experience negative thoughts when they serve us well or keep us from danger.
However, these negative thoughts can become quite controlling when we get too many of them because we start to believe them. Why do we believe them? well, this is where the subconscious mind plays a big part in this, and this is where clinical hypnotherapy may help you.
"The way you think determines the way you feel, and the way you feel determines the way you think"
What benefits can be expected?
There are many health and life benefits of hypnotherapy as this natural state of mind method of complementary therapy helps you create positive results in all aspects of your life and allows you to be the best version of yourself.
If thoughts of being hypnotized conjure up images of someone dangling a pocket watch in front of you while chanting, "You are getting sleepy", or maybe stage hypnosis, which has its place for many reasons. Hypnotherapy is a very natural state of mind so you may want to give this well-documented technique a little research to see its benefits and how natural it is for us humans to practice. Hypnotherapy has the potential to help you achieve wellness and life goals and can help you with many things.

Anxiety is your friend - When we can understand it a little better
Anxiety can make a person imagine that things in their life are worse than they are, and prevent them from confronting their fears. Often they will think they are going mad, or that some psychological imbalance is at the heart of their woes. What is important is the recognition that anxiety is normal and exists due to a set of bodily functions that have existed in us from our caveman days.
Back then, we were equipped with an internal alarm system designed to protect us from the dangers surrounding us in the wild. This system would make us hyper-alert by giving us a boost of adrenaline that would increase the heart rate and boost the amount of oxygen going to our limbs so we were better able to fight or run from danger. This is known as the “fight or flight” response. The “butterflies in the stomach” feeling that many associates with anxiety are this mechanism kicking in, but instead of being used to avoid immediate danger, it is often wrongly and inappropriately activated in a person during normal situations when stress has built up, often unknowingly.
Here at iHypnosis Therapy Essex, I can help to re-wire our thinking to move forward away from old feelings, emotions and I like to call the 'out of date' recordings that serve us no purpose in the here and now.
Slim Via Hypnosis - The Complete Mindful Eating Weight Reducing Programme
Losing weight can be a difficult process - and it's not made any easier by the conflicting, and often dangerous, advice out there in the world. We are constantly bombarded with TV programs, advertising, and social media feed full of pictures of food, and the presence of these can make the temptation to veer away from healthy or intuitive eating very strong.
Then there are weight loss pills and other commercial weight-reducing programs that focus on restricting what you eat, rather than considering how you eat, or what you think about the food you are putting into your body. It's no surprise to have developed certain negative mindsets around what we put in our bodies.
Hypnosis for weight loss can be an effective method in challenging these mindsets and moments of temptation, helping you to live a healthier life.
