And many more.

We work together to get you to where you want to be, to feel better. We know that it's not about the ‘experience’ that you had, but more about the emotion or the ‘feeling’ that you felt at that time. This is where we use many proven therapies such as CBH - Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy, which is where we incorporate CBT - Cognitive Behavioural Therapy but we also add in the great benefits of hypnotherapy.

The most important thing to remember with hypnotherapy is that you have to want change, this is how the subconscious mind works by listening to everything you say, so to make the subconscious mind change, then it has to be desired by you.

This type of talking therapy enables the client to understand their feelings, and what makes them feel the way they do. We work on this to bring a resolution on how to deal better with these feelings. As humans we have around 60,000 thoughts a day with around 80% of those being negative thoughts only, now it's ok to experience negative thoughts when they serve us well or keep us from danger. However, these negative thoughts can become quite controlling when we get too many of them because we start to believe them. Why do we believe them? well, this is where the subconscious mind plays a big part in this, and this is where clinical hypnotherapy may help you.

"The way you think determines the way you feel, and the way you feel determines the way you think"

Easy Quit Smoking and Vaping

Easy Quit Smoking is 1 x session of 1 1/2 - 2 hours (only one session needed) - £150 (includes consultation/therapy).

To become a smoker, a person needs to develop a habit. None of us were born smoking. It was a learning process. When we form a different habit (of not smoking) it is easy to stop the addiction. This award-winning Easy Quit Smoking session helps by forming a new habit - it works fast to help you to maybe STOP smoking instantly.

Many times, after this method, the person doesn't even feel like smoking anymore, and no need to think about it!

It does not matter how many cigarettes or cigars you smoke daily, or how much you may vape, or even how long you have smoked, as long as you have a strong wish to stop smoking you have a fantastic chance to eradicate cigarettes/tobacco products and vaping out of your life completely.

The success rate is high. There is no other method for kicking the habit, supported by research. This is a natural way to quit the habit, involves no harmful drugs which come with a string of side effects such as anxiety, depression along with many others.

The NHS success rate of quitting through their treatment program is 35% and Hypnotherapy offers a success rate of 95%.

I get asked if there is a guarantee of quit smoking therapy. The simple answer is that no one can give you a cast-iron 100% guarantee with any therapy and I would suggest you proceed with caution with any therapist who boasts this. I can only work with your desire to quit. If you truly want to quit and are fully committed, then with this award-winning Quit Smoking program you have every opportunity for success.

*A non-returnable deposit of £45 will be payable on booking a quit smoking session via bank transfer or PayPal. This is because I am often booked well in advance and it secures your place on my waiting list. It also proves motivation for wanting to quit - FULL COMMITMENT REQUIRED

*The fee is less than an average 20 a day smoker spends in a month. Based on an average cost of £10 a pack, 7 packs a week, 52 weeks a year, you could be saving around £300 a month on average, and over £3600 a year! Imagine if you saved that money per month that you are burning away on damaging your health for 3 years...that would be over £10,000 you'll have saved.
It makes sense to stop, doesn't it?

What benefits can be expected?

There are many health and life benefits of hypnotherapy as this natural state of mind method of complementary therapy helps you create positive results in all aspects of your life and allows you to be the best version of yourself.

If thoughts of being hypnotized conjure up images of someone dangling a pocket watch in front of you while chanting, "You are getting sleepy", or maybe stage hypnosis, which has its place for many reasons. Hypnotherapy is a very natural state of mind so you may want to give this well-documented technique a little research to see its benefits and how natural it is for us humans to practice. Hypnotherapy has the potential to help you achieve wellness and life goals and can help you with many things.

YouTube - 'How to attack a panic attack'

Please subscribe to my YouTube Channel as I will be uploading regular videos, audios and some great tips and advice on how to cope with anxiety and stress, and much more.

And help to stop it in its tracks

As promised, I have put together a really helpful video as to ‘How to attack a panic attack’.

This video is about 30 minutes long, BUT if you are suffering from panic attacks, then it’s worth investing some time in understanding them that bit better. You may find this video helpful and it may even help stop that panic attack from gaining momentum straight away and for you to start taking back control today.

I talk about:

*What panic attacks are? Different types?
*The symptoms?
*Reasons why we may get them?
*Why we get them?
*What you can do about them.
*Distraction techniques.
*Fight or Flight (threat system response) or you're natural built-in safety mechanism - amazing clever stuff.

I speak not only as a clinical hypnotherapist, but also from my own experience of panic attacks in the past, and the tools 🛠 I would use to help me cope and eventually not experience them anymore. I stopped feeding them and giving them the strength to grow, I was keeping them alive, helping them grow to the point of them controlling me.

They gradually became less and less until my ‘new’ way of thinking meant that they weren’t getting fed anymore or given any of my time. This was many years ago when there wasn’t much help or advice on panic attacks and I thought I was dying or had something weird wrong with me. Once it’s understood, I became educated about them, I became more powerful, I actually read what they were, and why they were happening..... to me.

You see, you can be so confident and no one would ever know that you are experiencing such an awful scary feeling, I am pleased to say that learning why I was getting them, all made sense to me.

It’s lovely to share my tools, tips, and techniques with you guys like I have done with clients. Lots of the work we do is taught in lectures, workshops, case studies, etc, and it’s amazing what we learn and how we can put that into practice. This is an ‘extra’ that I feel I can pass onto my clients, and something I want to share with you all during this challenging time, so you can start to become friends with this natural self-safety mechanism that your body so cleverly uses.

Not all panic attacks can be sorted using this type of method, as sometimes we need to dig deeper, to get to the root, so we need to dig it up and get rid of it.

But this can help you to understand and gain the knowledge (which is your power) right there!! and this may surprise you how much it may help you.

This is a very taboo subject as we know, so let’s get talking, helping others and maybe you may have other tips that you can add to this also? maybe your experiences, what you do? How you cope or coped.

I hope you guys enjoy this video and I hope you find it useful, please comment below as I would love to know if thinking of a panic attack with this ‘new attitude’ has instantly made you feel differently about them.

Stay safe ❤️

Anxiety and Stress

Anxiety can make a person imagine that things in their life are worse than they are, and prevent them from confronting their fears. Often they will think they are going mad, or that some psychological imbalance is at the heart of their woes. What is important is the recognition that anxiety is normal and exists due to a set of bodily functions that have existed in us from our cave-man days.

Back then, we were equipped with an internal alarm system designed to protect us from the dangers surrounding us in the wild. This system would make us hyper-alert by giving us a boost of adrenaline that would increase the heart rate and boost the amount of oxygen going to our limbs so we were better able to fight or run from danger. This is known as the “fight or flight” response. The “butterflies in the stomach” feeling that many associates with anxiety are this mechanism kicking in, but instead of being used to avoid immediate danger, it is often wrongly and inappropriately activated in a person during normal situations when stress has built up, often unknowingly.

Here at iHypnosis Therapy Essex, I can help to re-wire our thinking to move forward away from old feelings, emotions and I like to call the 'out of date' recordings that serve us no purpose in the here and now.

Want to learn the art of 'Mindful Eating'?

Slim Via Hypnosis - The Complete Mindful Eating Weight Reducing Programme - AVAILABLE NOW FOR FACE TO FACE

Losing weight can be a difficult process - and it's not made any easier by the conflicting, and often dangerous, advice out there in the world. We are constantly bombarded with TV programs, advertising, and social media feed full of pictures of food, and the presence of these can make the temptation to veer away from healthy or intuitive eating very strong.

Then there are weight loss pills and other commercial weight-reducing programs that focus upon restricting what you eat, rather than considering how you eat, or what you think about the food you are putting into your body. It's no surprise to have developed certain negative mindsets around what we put in our bodies.

Hypnosis for weight loss can be an effective method in challenging these mindsets and moments of temptation, helping you to live a healthier life.

Slim via Hypnosis is an amazing 4 x session complete weight loss/healthy lifestyle programme that consists of the key elements that really help you to stay focused. Plus education, facts, handouts, NLP, suggestion work, positive thinking, and many more aspects of therapy have been put together from years of work and expertise to bring you this 4 X SESSION PROGRAMME.

We also include FREE audios for you to listen to in between sessions, lots of support, and fantastic techniques that really help you create a better relationship with food because that’s really what we need to focus on is your relationship with food and how you see it.

So if you're ready to change old habits around food then I’d love to hear from you.

The aim of hypnotherapy for weight loss is to make you feel confident about your body, change negative thoughts about eating, and help you lose weight responsibly, without impacting your emotional well-being. By targeting the unconscious mind with powerful suggestion techniques, a hypnotherapist can help you develop a positive relationship with food and exercise, which is key to healthy weight loss and long-term weight management.

Hypnoanaylsis, what type of therapy is this?

This type of therapy is a very analytical type of therapy that helps to peel away the layers. This is how I like to explain it to my clients, and I find it helps them to understand it well. Not all clients will benefit from this type of therapy or are they always required to heal.

"To kill the weed, we have to dig down deep to get out the root, or it will continue to grow and gain strength, adjusting and evolving in the environment that it has become accustomed to".

This works in the same way with our emotions, because sometimes things that we have experienced as a child may have not been resolved and this happens because we were unable to comprehend an experience, a scenario, or words that were said to us or things that we may have heard or even seen from our parents, teachers or mentors. As a child, we are unable to see the logic so therefore it just gets forgotten and not resolved. Resulting in emotions being suppressed for many years.

This can then flag up in adult life in various emotional ways. Then later in life these emotions can be triggered and create symptoms that we just aren’t quite sure how to deal with, and we don’t know why we are experiencing them. So, with hypnoanalysis, we can pinpoint the initial sensitizing event and work on this to bring peace and release to move forward in life. This is a different type of therapy that some clients will need to move forwards, and most importantly this is always the client’s choice if they wish to do so.
